If you are not enrolled in SMC, you can still come and participate in our Sunday's RR tourn (every Sunday) or take the Sunday's daily training.

A good club coaches working on the technical bases.
These foundations; topspin forehand and topspin backhand, you can stabilize on the Returnboard.
If you train very fast topspin rallies, you achieve better RETURN STABILITY.

I honestly just played my first game of table tennis tonight. The table I played on wasn't exactly professional, but I got the idea. Its very difficult. A lot harder then I thought it would be.

The game is played with two or four players hitting a ball with rackets back and forth to each other on a table, in a manner similar to tennis. The rules are slightly different, but the concept is very similar. In singles play, the serve is not required to cross from the server's right-hand court to the receiver's right-hand court (or left to left) as it is in tennis. However, serving across is required in doubles play. Ball spin, speed, placement, strategy and tactics play an important part in competitive table tennis matches.

I have been playing Table Tennis club play for over 32 years (Since 1968). As a kid (13 yrs old), there was a Karate class being taught next to our Table Tennis club. I noticed the exact same body actions and stances in Karate as in Table Tennis - except much faster, more powerful, and more stable. Thus, later in my years, I decided to take up Karate to improve my Table Tennis technique.

Serving: Pretty simple really but if ur not too sure about spin, dont try that, just go for placement....

Returning: dont try to always hit it as hard as u can, but u can go for the corners and it will b u on top...

Smashing: dont always smash, it, if u feel u have a good oppiortunity on that specific point, take it, it is better to underhit than to blast it off the table....

nb: well, if u cna see that ur opponent is storng on a ceratin side, utilize your strenght and their weakness and if u r in doubles, work with ur partner
